What do you support?
I serve on the Ruth J. Spear Breast Center Advisory Board for Providence St. Vincent Medical Foundation. I am a breast cancer survivor and used the services of the center. They helped me when I needed it and their services are dependent on philanthropy support.


Who was your role model?
Jeff Grubb, who is my manager. He and his wife are very philanthropic and also give of their time and talents. Jeff inspired and motivated me to support my own charitable causes and to be passionate about them.

What is your latest accomplishment?
I am so proud of my son, who will graduate from high school in June. He is the light that kept me going through my diagnosis and treatment.

A perfect day is …
My perfect day happened last Mother's Day. My son and I spent the day together at a nursery, learning about cherry trees we were getting. It was a simple day, but it was so memorable.

Why do you give?
I have tremendous hope we will find a cure and a better treatment for cancer. And the [Spear] breast center provides a safe place for people to begin and live a new, normal life.
