President's Message

Dear friends,

More than 100 staff members, friends and donors gathered Jan. 22 at Providence Milwaukie Hospital for a blessing ceremony and open house celebrating our latest addition - the brand-new, state-of-the-art Endoscopy Services Department.

This event marked the conclusion of our foundation's successful campaign that raised more than $500,000 toward the cost of the endoscopy services expansion. We were blessed to have strong community support for this project during a year of intense economic uncertainty. I would like to personally thank each donor, staff member and foundation board member who worked so hard to achieve our goal.

Established more than 21 years ago, Providence Milwaukie Foundation has now raised more than $6 million to support projects that have modernized our hospital and have provided community health services. 2009 was a very successful and eventful year for the foundation, and we're well under way to another active and fruitful year in 2010.

We are so grateful to all of the donors who support Providence Milwaukie Hospital. Community support is vital as the need for quality health care continues to grow each year. Every gift, no matter the size, is appreciated and is used to provide world-class health care right here in our community.
