Providence Milwaukie Foundation Adds New Board Members

MILWAUKIE, Ore. — Two Blount International executives and two Providence Milwaukie Hospital medical directors are the newest members of the Providence Milwaukie Foundation Board of Directors, which supports the Providence Mission through its fundraising efforts.
Barry Brunetto has served as Blount’s vice president of information systems for 10 years and previously worked with Sensormatic Electronics Corp. in Boca Raton, Fla. Brunetto holds a Bachelor of Science degree in professional management and a master’s in business administration specializing in international business. He served on the faculty for the University of Phoenix, Oregon campus, where he taught information systems and business courses at both the bachelor’s and master’s levels.
Dale Johnson, Blount’s vice president of corporate human resources, also has worked with CH2M Hill and spent six years at Southwest Washington Medical Center. Johnson has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington and a master’s in business administration from the University of Portland. He currently serves as the chair of the Oregon Coalition of Health Care Purchasers.
Marc Carey, M.D., has served as the Providence Milwaukie’s quality medical director since January of last year. Dr. Carey joined Providence in 2003 as a resident and now serves on the faculty of the family practice residency program.
Steven Redmond, M.D., has served as the medical director of the Providence Milwaukie hospitalist program since January of 2006. Prior to his arrival at Providence, Dr. Redmond spent 10 years in OHSU’s department of internal medicine and practiced at the Memorial Clinic in Olympia, Wash.
In addition, the board announced its new slate of officers: John Wyatt, president; MichelleWeisenbach; vice president and treasurer; Diane Greenman, secretary; and Robert Dwyer, Jr., former president.
