Medical, dental care now within Providence Child Center

A long-held dream has recently become a reality: the Specialty Pediatric Medical and Dental Clinic located at Providence Child Center is now open.

This on-site clinic is the child center's next step in becoming a comprehensive pediatric facility for children with disabilities.

The medical and dental clinic provides timely, coordinated and quality care for the young residents of the Center for Medically Fragile Children at Providence Child Center. This convenient clinic offers:

• Pediatric specialty services, such as augmentative communication and pediatric neurodevelopmental assessment and therapies
• Dental care
• Rehabilitation

The augmentative communication services also will be available to children in the community.

Looking to the future, Providence Child Center intends to make all clinic services available to more children with disabilities, as funding allows.
